There is accelerated clock in the demo. I thought I noticed it before, but then forgot all about it. Just now thought about it again, watched the clock my past drive and when it went from 40-33 seconds, the game clock also had 7 seconds cut off it too.

So is accelerated clock an option in the settings / options menu in the demo?

I don't know. We can only select difficulty so I didn't look at the other options since they're grayed out. I'll look after this game though. But I know accelerated clock is in for sure and it seems to stay on all the time which is better in my opinion. It forces you to run no huddle in the last two minutes instead of how Madden had it where you could huddle up and call a play faster than the no huddle.

This sounds promising....so 15mins quarters with realistic stats could be a definite possibility this year, without taking an age to complete? Cheers for the responces lads!

My guess is it will work the same way as Madden 10's. But I know its definitely there. It was also very evident in earlier videos when they were showing off locomotion and wouldn't talk about anything else. The video was Florida @ Alabama if you want to check it out.

I'm a big fan of this acc clock. It'll be nice not having the CPU go 80 yards on 8 plays in 1:30.

this is probably even better than how madden had it implemented last year because it accelerates before you pick your play. they may or may not have an option for it on the retail, but i love it. i do wonder if the time will be adjustable or if its relative to how long the quarter is.

good find canes 21, because i read your post after having played two games and never noticed it.
