How come my DL falls down when I use the R-stick

Playing the demo on PS3...I like to control the defensive linemen, but I'm getting frustrated b/c just about every time I just to use the r-stick to make a move to get around the OL my guy falls to the ground. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

Are you pushing down? What is the rating of the end compared to the tackle?

I have the same problem and I am pushing down. What am I doing wrong?

I've noticed the ends tend to fall down when pushing down. Just try spinning with ends and pushing down the DT's.

I dont know if any of you played actual football but if your getting pushed back on a run play you are supposed to go to the ground which down on the R Stick does

isn't pushing it down before you engage the hit stick? that might be why.

Try telling that to any O/D linemen ever. Any given game is won and lost in the trenches. Without good play there, nothing else even matters.
