And lets not forget that their are a ton of "workout warriors" who don't play nearly as fast as their 40 time would indicate and vice versa. And since in NCAA, their wearing pads, not shorts and track shoes, 40 times can only do so much for you anyway.
I would have to agree that there are many guys who can run a 40 yard dash on a track or field with great speed, but don't have the same 'game
speed in pads. This is why I wish 40 yd dash times for football were clocked with the players wearing full pads.

Re: Player Ratings Available

I just hope that Demar Dorsey is on the University of Louisville's roster.

Five-star defensive back Demar Dorsey was refused entrance by the Michigan Wolverines.
ESPNU 150 safety Demar Dorsey of Boyd Anderson (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), who signed with Michigan in the Class of 2010, will not be admitted to the school and has been released from his letter of intent.

Dorsey (6-foot-1, 180-pounds), the Big Ten's highest-rated recruit according to ESPNU, had been committed to Florida since his junior year, but parted ways just before National Signing Day. He then chose the Wolverines over Florida State and Southern California.

Despite meeting the NCAA's standards to play football, Michigan was troubled by Dorsey's past legal issues.

It was reported that Demar Dorsey ran a 4.25 laser-timed 40 yard dash.

Three Cone Drill 7.44
Vertical Jump 39.5"
Broad Jump 10'1''
40-yd dash 4.25
20-yd shuttle 4.19

Dorsey is the #12 player in the country according to the ESPN ratings. But Scout and Rivals were not as impressed with Dorsey.

Rivals has him ranked #162 overall. The #12 safety.
Scout has him ranked the #19 safety.

Ok, I like that you included Nick Hill in the top RB Speeds, it shows you have done research. The thing is about Hill, his top speed really isn't as good as his acceleration or agility. Actually, I would rate Hill 90 spd with around 95 acc and 94 agl. Edwin Baker is actually faster than Hill, and his acc and agl are comparable. I would put Baker at 92 spd and Hill at 90, with Baker at 96 acc and 95 agl.

Thanks for these speed ratings man. I mostly agree with what you have put down here.
