Uh, sorry but no. If UGA was "no doubt" a top 25 team, how exactly did they finish 33rd overall in the final AP poll and 31st in the final coaches poll? They went 8-5.

Wow Oregon's a bit high. I'd put them in the top 10, don't know about top 5 though.

How exactly did we finish 31st? Joe Cox.
Why did we go 8-5? Joe Cox and a shaky defense.

Both are improved (QB position and defnese)
Not to mention we have one of the best lines in the SEC, one of the best 1-2 punches at HB in the SEC, the best WR in the nation, the best TE corp in the SEC.

It's hard to say you improved at QB when you only have two left: a redshirt freshman starter and a guy who should be playing WR. Murray has already had tendinitis issues - you better pray he stays healthy this fall if Georgia is going to be a top-25 team. Plus you've got to assume a RFr QB in the SEC is going to take his lumps in year one; there's just too many good, athletic defenses in that conference.

I think GT and UGA's spots are perfect LoL

Re: E3 Preliminary Top 25

Thought rankings were meant to RANK how good teams are, not what bowl games they can go to. SC is still a favorite to win the PAC-10 according to several media outlets, so I think they definitely should be ranked. How many games they win still impacts a lot of teams.
