Who is getting the NCAA 11 strategy guide?

I'm thinnking of getting it at release, as it is discounted for predorders @ midnight release, I believe. Anyone else plan on picking it up? Did anyone get it last year?

I bought one a few years ago and found it completely worthless. So I usually stay as far away as I can from strategy guides since you can probably find much better information and help just searching online for free.

I got one free when 07 came out. It was good to have a list of formations in each playbook, but like someone said you can probably find that on the internet. IDK what the strategy guides look like in recent years, but if you like to have a hard copy I guess half off is a good deal.

strategy guides are worthless, epecially for sports games. If there any decent info in it you will read about it online.

I get it as it completes the annual purchase, a ritual I've had when purchasing NCAA and Madden. I don't get it for strategy, I get it purely because it makes good light reading and given I keep all my games (with guides in premium condition), it adds to the collection I have amassed. It would be wrong to stop now

Just buy phil steele's college preview then. The strategy guides are worthless.

You won't be reading much of that in the guide. It is utterly useless. Just a scam for Prima and EA to swindel your funds. Get a preview magazine like Sporting News, Athlon, Lindy's or Phil Steele instead.
