Why do some player models have no tape on wrists, and no gloves. When I was in school playing athletics we called this being naked.

Lots of players don't use tape or gloves...

Not every player uses tape and gloves...I only had tape on my right ankle when I played.

Yep.. Not all players used tape. I had tape on ankles and that's it..

I think what the OP is saying is that you rarely see today's football athlete without tape or gloves however in the NCAA '11 demo & videos, it is pretty prevelant.

People that follow football closely know that most of your bench warmer types come "naked." (that's what she said)

No big deal I always put the gear on the players myself anyway...

Yep, I do too...it's time consuming but it looks better

I don't see a problem really, I'd rather have players with fewer accessories, then having them loaded up with tape and sweatbands.
