i always wondered that, being it comes from microsoft and all. if that is in fact the case, i'd guess that would put the 360 is position to really shine brightly.

pc games always seem to be more powerful, looking at flight simulators and what not. it would be an excellent step forward if we could get that kind of performance out of console gaming.

This is correct. The game is not ported to PS3.

As far as is the 360 holding it back? The truth is both systems have advantages over the other.

Getting past the sarcasm, and in all seriousness, code files themselves don't really take up that much space. As Giggas has been arguing, there isn't really much from a functionality standpoint that would see a dramatic benefit if the game were developed specifically for the Blu-Ray format.

Re: Is the 360 Holding this game back?

Seems like a lot of developers now understand how to implement the different but advanced PS3 RAM architecture.

Now here's where the biggest difference is; eDRAM. The Xbox has this and the PS3 does not. What does this mean? It means the Xbox has extra memory to run AA and the PS3 does not. This is why Xbox games in turn look better and that is because of anti aliasing. It can be done on the PS3 but with the Xbox in a way it's like a on/off switch without suffering in performance.

what about FCS teams complete with jersey and stadiums since i'm guessing that's all just art and audio, plus addtional code to run those in a separate dynasty mode given trademark rights and all. or even being able to take presentation from last year and make it a regional game while making the new presentation national games and such. if it's just art, audio and video with code taking up little space. other than that i chalk it up to design cycle. shout out to EA sports!
