Re: PS3 lighting fixed in retail?

I played the final build of the game and the PS3 looked pretty much the same as the 360. No doubt in speaking with Russ he said they are pretty much identical. There is and should be no real difference. I noticed that on some TV's (Darker brightness) it looked better on the PS3 than the 360 at E3, but overall walking from one side to the other to see if there was a difference I couldn't tell at all.

I deleted the demo and re-downloaded it yesterday and played a couple of games. Miami @ OSU definitely looked better than before and even UF @ FSU was better in terms of lighting.

Djwlfpack, you sure is wasn't just the placebo effect because I just don't see how the demo would be different depending on when it was downloaded you know?

Could be. Either that or the weather for the games is sunny and not partly-cloudy. The graphics are still grainy for the pre-game entrances, but the on-field action color looks better.

Re: PS3 lighting fixed in retail?

Guys, I cannot tell you how frustrated I was with the colors on the PS3 demo. I'm not one to bash anything, but I was honestly considering not picking up the game because of awful colors in the demo.

I tried everything that everyone said to do in another thread, to no avail, everything was dark, and washed out. I really, really hope the retail version comes crisp and clean, otherwise theres no way I can play this game. I have a brand new 50" Samsung that I basically bought to play NCAA & Madden. Man, I'm goin off right now, I gotta do what my username says...

I love NCAA year in and year out, as well as Madden, and NBA Live (Elite) but man I hope they got them colors right....

Re: PS3 lighting fixed in retail?

I was worried it was my television but I see I'm not the only one. The FSU v UF game is so dark, and I just bought a new t.v. this weekend and it's still dark.
