MAC offers 13 spots, thats the only reason I added Notre Dame to them

I went with a total shakeup. I am playing as Texas A&M and I put every teams name in a hat and drew out to determine their conference. I started with ACC and worked my way to the WAC. Here are the results:

Yeah I have seen a lot of posts like this in recent weeks but the people that are doing these never take into account the automatic bowl bids that will get screwed up.

I say just pretend all this conference realignment stuff blows over over the next few months and play the game as is.

Yeah, if someone wants to do the bowl game experiment that would be great for all of us. Doubt many still have NCAA 2010 though lol.

For the Big XII, Big ten, Pac Ten debate.

There is no true 100% way to do this guys without sliding one power conference into a mid major conference slot ala what OP did, which I like, but the bowl games, etc, is lame and will the Big ten be the MAC in the game by name? Not digging that.

I was thinking of just switching the Big XII and Big ten guys. What about this?

Big XII North: Nebraska stays as is, Iowa, Wisconsin, Purdue,Indiana, Northwestern.
Big XII South: OSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Illinois, Minnesota.

Big Ten: Remaining Big XII school's, PLUS Notre Dame as an added Bonus.

Now I realize...big ten loses automatic Rose Bowl bid, which sucks, and the championship game would be in Texas lol but as someone who will be playing with Kentucky in the SEC, I don't really care about that as I'll just sim the game anyways, I just want them having a championship game.

And for the Pac Ten, I'll just have to add Colorado and Utah and drop two less prestigious schools. Any candidates? LOL.

Like I said, it's a video game and we can't make it realistic without more variety like making conferences bigger, smaller, etc, the team for team concept ties our hands as does the lack of being able to change conference names, etc. But if we had the ability to add team's to a conference and form our own conference title games(see Big Ten with Nebraska coming on), then we wouldn't need to change the conferences names that much or at all.
