Cincinnati-I went there, my wife goes there and Cincinnati is my hometown.

West Virginia-Primarily their basketball team because of Bob Huggins but also
their football team.

Oklahoma State-I ran a deep dynasty with them a few years back and ever since then always root for them in the Big 12.

Boise St-I think they are a great program and I'm tired of hearing the arguments against them. "They don't play any tough games."

Used to be West Virginia and Rutgers before they became relevant, but now I really enjoy playing as mediocre teams from BCS conferences.

Re: Teams you have a "Soft Spot" for

An Oregon fan since I grew interested in college ball in '02. Splurged on a NCAA 03 rental when I couldn't wait for Madden and ran with Oregon ironically because I thought they had the coolest uni's.

SMU- Ran with them on the 1*-6* achievement.

Syracuse- My most realistic dynasty with them (no running with CA, FL, TX or OH schools. Too easy recruiting). Worst uni's in NCAA, thank god for Teambuilder.

USF- Strong supporters of JUCO players. (Kansas St. also)

Oklahoma St.- Modern day Receivers U.

Easily my "softest spot". I like Utah coming to the Pac-10 but to leave Boise out and invite Colorado is criminal. The team has won their division every year of this decade, sans 2007.

And on the subject of tough games, I'm an Oregon fan and they've tanned our hides the last 2 years. Ask TCU and Oklahoma if those were tough games. You can only beat the teams you're scheduled to play.
