i want dirty uniforms. and how does changing the color of something negatively impact the frame rate? it's not like they're texture mapping the dirt buildup or anything.

3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.

Yeah, is the the actual explanation from EA Sports or just an assumption from the hip? I remember for years people said Gran Turismo couldn't have car damage in their games because exotic manufacturers wouldn't allow it. Then Forza came out.

Re: No Dirty Uni's???

The frustration is the "two steps forward, one step back" nature of EA's development philosophy. They seem to constantly take away features that have been in the game forever, going back to last gen, seemingly every year. Uni and field degradation go back a long ways and have always been well received. It's disappointing to have that lost.

Re: No Dirty Uni's???

I dont think that anybody from EA confirmed that it was removed because of frame rate issues. I think that is just speculation. Lets hope it is just a bug that is causing the uniforms to not get dirty and hope it can be fixed with a patch.

I don't need dirty uniforms to love the game but having them in the game will make rain games even more enjoyable.

Re: No Dirty Uni's???

I think the OP's point is that Ea should add features, not remove them. Now if Ea could not keep the framerate up without removing dirty uniforms then fine, but they should be in next year. Again, this just goes with Ea's policy of removing certain features of the game and bring them back in a few years, tagged as a "new feature." However, I agree with many others who have posted that dirty uniforms are not a dealbreaker by any means. It will be weird playing in the rain though
