From what I gather it is the way it is because of the new lighting system. Makes no sense to me, but then I don't code games. I rather doubt it can be "patched." It will probably require them to work on it for NCAA 12.

From what I understand of video games, this would be pretty tough to get into the game through a patch. That's texture work, and I don't think you can really adjust that too much once the game goes gold. I could be wrong though.

I agree it does kinda stink, but it really isn't that big of an issue. Enough has been improved to kinda shrug it off and Chicago Cubs it.

Anyway, no one knows why these were taken out, I doubt its the lighting system though, but I doubt you'll get an answer from a dev about this for another 2 or 3 weeks
