Differences between online and offline dynasty

Well, I chose Idaho. I've simmed 2 season. 1st season I went 1-11, 2nd season I went 3-9. I have NOT come across anything related to coaching contracts and being fired. I will sim 1 more year but I'm doubting that Coaching Contracts are included in Online Dynasty.

edit: sorry, I missed the last post that began page 2. But specifically, I'd like to know if you can turn coaching contracts "OFF" in offline, single player, dynasty. Thanks.


Still need to know if you can turn coaching contracts "OFF" in dynasty mode, or did this option die with last gen, never to return?!

So you can't get fired, but you can leave and take on any job you want? I guess you'd have to simulate it by taking a crappy job and after 2-3 years of good results, move up to a better team and so on.

Excatly. I guess the best way to do it would be to set goals for yourself. Goals like how many wins you have in a season, getting to bowl games, winning your conference, winning bowl games, etc. Another than to consider is how the team you want to go to is doing.

Example: If I'm using Southern Miss and my goal is two have two straight seasons of 6-7 wins and 2 bowl wins then I could change jobs. But, it really wouldn't make much sense if I achieved my goals and wanted to move to the Bama job but, Bama just won the NC.

I'm not sure if this matters to you, but it does to me and may be an online dynasty dealbreaker: If you use online, can you export those rosters at the end of each season to Madden? Also, can you use custom rosters for online dynasty?
