It hasn't been fixed for years so my assumption would be no. I really dislike EA Tiburon and never make excuses for them but I honestly believe that at this point it must be a balancing issue (why they don't have it working I mean)

Maybe having defenders man up will break the blocking or something. To me it definitely doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilities with an EA football game.

Re: Man Align

It has worked occasionally, and by occasionally i mean my CB will split out on a receiver 1-100 times i audible it. Very annoying and frustrating when playing against people that actually run a SLOT STRONG formation or know how to do manual motions to get their playmaker in the slot.

Re: Man Align

I too was thinking about this problem a couple of days ago. Not only should your players line up over their man assignments, but this should also have the capability to be used to try and confuse the QB by showing man and dropping to zone. Same concept as the corners when they come up in bump coverage showing man, should be able to "bail" (open up at the snap and stay with the receiver in their zone) when in zone coverage.

Re: Man Align

The only time I use (or could think of using) the man align adjustment is when I want to disguise zone coverage or maybe a zone blitz.

If you're in man, you don't want to show it.

Like another person posted, I typically will go with a Nickel or Dime package with 3 or more WRs, depending on the situation and if I'm protecting the pass or want to gamble on the run.

Re: Man Align

I've only ever tried "Man Align" when in a zone coverage...and it has always worked as far as I can remember.

It's designed to disguise your zone coverage as man coverage.
