Right. That would inflate the stats a bit.

I couldn't imagine playing 15 min. Qtrs. I run the clock down playing 5 min.

I've found Heisman level to be very tough. Maybe it's time to bump it up.

I agree it should have been a beat down, but even against div2 schools it shouldn't be like running through hanging sheets. 30, 40 points would be fine.

Passing seemed about perfect, but with the running enhancements this year to the line blocking and lead blocker awareness, you can run through just about anyone. Just putting it out there that if someone wants it realistic it will require slider adjustments. A dinky WR shouldn't be stiffly blocking LB's, even against FCS teams
Depending on the school, a lot of FCS schools are really bad. Hell, Petrino use to hang 50+ on UK when he was at Louisville, and they're in the SEC.

Well if you want the AI to be more agressive on D on AA settings. The best thing to do is adjust the sliders until you feel that the AI is trying harder. That is the best solution I can tell you. The AI on AA setting does not even put up a fight on stopping the outside rush game. You can run outside all day on the AI and the AI will do nothing to stop you. This is something the NCAA Dev team need to patch ASAP to tell you the truth. Hopefully they will see this and tweak it in the first patch.

If the big schools played their starters for 4 quarters against a mediocre FCS team, they probably would roll up 70+ points. Coaches use those games to get other guys in the action. They might go hard for a quarter or two to put up enough to make sure the game is in hand. Backups come in on both sides of the ball so the coaching staff can see them in live game action. Usually by the time the 4th quarter comes around, the tuba player is getting carries while the rest of the brass section is blocking for him.

Not really sure how their defense is rated but I'm sure Armando Allen is a beast. Default sliders probably make it too easy anyway. I'd suggest either not calling the same running play every single down or tone down your RB ability and Run blocking sliders until you get a realistic feel.
That is hardly the case. I ran a pitch and two different counters by play type in these videos. These were my three big gains. the rest were a bunch of grinding up the gut or a stretch play. a 42 yard run and an 81 yard run go a long way to my 300+ yards [nearly 1/3 of them] and my 11+ yard average.

I guess I am going to mess with sliders then.

In the NFL, games have an average of 120 offensive plays I am told per game. With normal game speed, 15min quarters and accelerated clock, that's what you get in Madden 10. i assumes I could do the same in NCAA with the conservative game plan... but I guess the computer snaps the ball with over 20 seconds left. I like to try and play sim games, and the clock is part of that.

I figured because of 120 ways to win, EA didn't want to put accelerated clock in this game. they didn't want hurry up spread offenses to not be represented. Instead, clock grinders, if there are any and I haven't seen any, don't exist.

what is the average number of plays in college football? that would be interesting to know.

Re: Why would you pass the ball?

I was housing teams left and right yesterday on A.A.. The LB's and safeties just weren't reacting to the play at all. I upped it to Heisman today. Much better. I would prefer A.A. but even with aggressive slider tweaks it was still too easy.

I personally play with 7 but that doesn't change much.

Im with MU and dominated FCS NW 70-0, at some point I got a warning for running up the score so I just stuck with running and it was just crazy simple, even my QB was in on the act.

Looking for a good slider set for AA, would rather not jump up to heisman, EA has a habit of handicaps/boosts at the highest difficulty, I'd rather it sticks closest to ratings as possible but not be ez mode.
This Ive gotta ask? What kinda warning could you possibly get?

He is talking about the warning you get for running up the score if you are connected to Season Showdown.
