Is there a spot in the pre-season menu (before you start season 1) that allows for you to accept walk ons?

In previous years games, you only got walk-ons if you had a position with less than the required depth...and you didn't fix it by changing positions.

Even if you had just 60 players, therefore 10 slots, you'd only get walk-ons if you HAD to fill a roster slot (like K or P, etc).

This year may be different however.

Has anyone ever had a walk-on turn out to be good enough to contribute? It seems they are just warm bodies filling a spot until you can recruit a 1* to replace them.

I would take walk ons over 1* recruits if it means I'm trying to recruit more 2* and above players.

From what I can tell, walkons are basically worthless players and are automatically put on your team when you dont have enough to fill a position. One year a I missed out on a fullback recruit and didnt bother to go after another one so the next year it stuck a backup fullback on my team rated a 40.

I always felt that they should give the user the option to accept as many walk-ons as desired. In real life, there are tons of kids in dorms across America capable and do tryout every year. The supply should be limitless.
