So what are recruits rated based on stars?

From what I hear

5 star- 78-low 80s ovr
4 star- 78-72
3 star- 73 and down

Are these about right. I was going to create a few recruits my team acutally signed next year and I want to make them about what they are really rated. Mosty high 3 star guys so I wanted to know what the 3 stars top out at.

I have had a 3 star recruit go as high as an 83...But that is about correct (what you posted above) for the most part.

5* - 90-99
4* - 80(ish)-90
3* -70(ish)-80
2* - scrub back-ups low to mid 70's
1* - Why bother? lol

It's not really that simple, one year I had my only 4* come in at a 66 ovr, that was really disappointing. Basically a player can be much higher or lower than his star rating indicates, so you can't really identify what their rating should be for sure.

Have you played dynasty this year? Your lucky to get any recruit in the 80's. The incoming ratings are much much lower this year.

Ha I like that. Either a bust or the recruiting service mis-evaluated him. This happens in real life more than we acknowledge.

You must be talking about last years game. This year recruits are much lower. I just got four 4 star recruits and only one came in 70's

I may be wrong but I think you just had bad luck. I think somebody said that 3 stars topped out in the low 70s.

From what I hear maybe...

5 star mid 70s and up
4 star mid 70s to high 60s
3 star 60s to low 70s

sound closer.

Well I also got nine, three star recruits and none came in at 70 or above. My best one was a 3 star WR that came in at 69
