Jet Packing Defense Help?? Cheating??

So i was playing someone online yesterday. He was using Texas. Texas has a mobile QB and a pretty fast Star WR. I would play 5-2, with my two safetys dropping into two man under coverage, i had a LB spy the QB. But everytime he would roll out throw deep, take control of his WR and all of a sudden his WR would get a speed burst over my DB and SS. I even tried Doubling that WR, but almost everytime he would throw deep and take control, his wr would almost JET PACK to the ball.

Does anyone know if this is an exploit? Or how to stop this? It got to the point where i would take control of the safety and start going back before the play only to have him still beat me in the same way. Any advice or help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Did you try adjusting coverage to play off? That should put the corners and safeties back another 5 yards or so.

I was playing with Michigan. The speed for my corner covering wasnt that different. I had them play at regular depth. But it got to the point where he would roll out every other play and launch it deep with either receiver, take control of the receiver and somehow jetpack past them. Normal passes where i would be like "he has no shot at catching" he just sped up and caught almost every one of them. If i back of he would audible and run the ball and gain 6 yards or motion his HB out take control and sideline jetpack if that makes sense.

Did EA take jet packing out? Do you guys recommend bringing blitzers?

Taking control of your safety is an option. Bump and run and then Blitz ....make sure you get the QB or else he will be able to go deep.

I would throw a corner blitz at him to the side he rolls out on, spot light his WR, and manually cover him. When a person is running the same play over and over, and it's working - Change your defense, try something else.
