You'll lose your integrity if I'm not mistaken.... is this something EA can fix in the patch? I'm all for it... just one less aspect of this game that will work properly.

Re: solid playing time promise

yeah, I'm not going to use this promise any more. I broke a promise because I promised my punter solid playing time... lol. Obviously he isn't on the field as much as a lot of players, but he was number one on the depth chart and did all the punting duties for the entire year. You'd think that in real life, a punter would be happy with that. What does he want me to do, put him at QB too?

Re: solid playing time promise

This is still a mystery. I promised this to a Kicker...and he is the ONLY kicker on my team. Yet...somehow it wasn't fulfilled with him being, THE KICKER.

It could be that I had my Punter kick-off, but I don't even remember that. I thought it was the biggest joke and just moved on seeing as how kickers are gimps in the game anyway.

lol...reminds me of calling a punter on a recruiting call, asking him about early playing time. His response?

"I'm okay just playing special teams, coach."

Re: solid playing time promise

I can also confirm that using a player frequently as a sub but never as a starter DOES NOT fulfill the solid playing time promise.

I guess the only safe way to make this promise is if you plan to start the guy.

I don't think its unreasonable to expect a little clarification from the developers on this.

Re: solid playing time promise

Does putting a DT #2 in a 2 DT base defense (4-3, 4-2-5) etc. count?
