I've been holding off getting this game until the 2nd patch, when is it?

You really arent going to have problems though if you continue your dynasty.

Dude the player ratings and team rating subsequently take a huge nose dive. And the product DOES drop off dramatically once the inital rosters are all out of school.

There are literally 50 D teams, which means if you have half an idea how to play this game, there's going to be game after game of winning by 50 points and not breaking a sweat to do it.

Receivers won't be useful at all, ratings just seem to gradually drop for top recruits.

The progression, while seemingly good for top teams, makes it so that average and bad teams keep getting worse and worse.

These are huge problems.

Here are the TOP WR's by 2019, from romeclone's research in the "Is Dynasty Ruined..." thread:

"The highest in my 2019 sim is 76 for SPN

There are 68 players at 70 or above for SPN ratings

ELU High is 76 as well with about the same amount at 70 or above

Juke is about the same as well with 78 as the high."

As I said in my own thread on the WR issue, the "Jeremy Maclin's" and Percy Harvins" of 2019 will have 78 juke and 76 elusiveness. How much fun will that be?

WR's as playmakers, on end arounds, on screens, or any route where they are supposed to get in space and make a guy miss, will be useless.

This has to be patched soon or I'll just trade this in for NCAA 10 or just play Madden all year. At least Madden has hand made draft picks so you know they have good (realistic) ratings.

I understand waiting a little longer for another patch. EA is only allowed 2 free patches, but my understanding is that is why they included tuner sets. I am pretty sure that NHL had 3 or 4 versions and NCAA is yet to even announce the first set. I will give the NCAA team props for improving the game, but it still needs some work.
