Pipeline States?

is it still possible to get new ones by recruiting lots of guys from a certain state?

I think you have to purchase new pipeline states, pretty gay if you ask me.

That's cool, and is that a dynamic or permanent thing? If I have < 4 do I lose the state?

no, that is just the lazy way to get new pipeline states. if you have 4 players from a certain state, then it'll be a pipeline state.

It's dynamic. It is based on the number of players from each stat on your current roster. And I think the actual number is 3, but you get the picture.


If you get 5 recruits from Texas and didn't have Texas as a pipeline before, then Texas is added. You will definitely have them as a pipeline for the coming season. Assuming none of those original 5 transfer (without you replacing them from the next class), you will also have Texas for the second recruiting season. And again, if you fail to recruit any Texans for the original 5's junior season (but they don't transfer out), you will STILL have Texas as a pipeline.

But then let's say you still haven't got any additional Texan recruits, and 3 of your 5 players transfer. Now you only have 2 on your roster, so you lose it as a pipeline--unless you can get a few more (maybe just 1), but remember those 2 are going into their senior season, so you'll have to pick up yet another 2 the next season to continue to maintain Texas as a pipeline state.

Generally speaking, if you get at least 1 recruit per year from a state, that state will be a pipeline state for you for as long as you continue to get 1 recruit per year.
