Today in off-season recruiting i noticed some players had an unlocked pad lock looking symbol in the same place, i am very interested as to what these symbols mean...

That means that some of the recruits interest in pitches are unlocked to begin with

Exactly the sort of info that SHOULD be in the manual, EA. Seriously, something in the game with absolutely no explanation and nobody knows for sure what it means. Boggles my mind.
