Re: I Love How Progression Is Done

This is very frustrating! I am only in game 4 of my Clemson dynasty...and don't want to continue if players come into college so poorly & still don't progress. Everyone talks about a patch, but ARE WE GETTING ONE?

Re: I Love How Progression Is Done

Unless the Madden demo blows me away (which I doubt).. This argument will become irrelevant. The only reason I'd be overly concerned with attributes like (Awr elusiveness etc..) being low, is if I were using these roster to carry over to Madden. I'll deal for now.

This needs to be fixed no doubt.. But in a way it's still better than last years game prior to all those patches. I gave up on NCAA 10 long before it was patched for the second time. The only reason I'm sticking around this year is because of the improved gameplay.

Re: I Love How Progression Is Done

So, how serious is this issue, really?

Is this just an issue with years 3 and 4?

If the issue is the disparity between the stock rosters and the recruits, there is going to a time when its all game-made recruits, and then essentially the roster evens out, no?

So, where is the real issue here IN NCAA alone? I don't care about the transfer to Madden, personally.

Here is my HB's stats from my Dynasty. His OVR is 73 and his AWR is 52. You can check it out. Now this was CPU vs CPU, so ratings mean more.
Not bad for a HB with 52 AWR.

San Diego Rushing:
HB #23: 268 Carries / 1,174yds / 5 TD / 4.3 Avg.

Sorry, the HS Stats teacher has to throw the flag here (and I won't do this again in any other threads I promise). Do you have evidence of this?

Progression is done adequately, certainly not well but it is not the biggest problem.

Main problems are;

1) too many one start players.

2) Generated recruits have the awareness of a door knob

3) kickers and punters suck leaving kicking game broken a couple years into dynasty

4) Poor positional ratings for OL and WRs

5) CPU hoarding certain positions such as QBs and CBs. This was better in 2010 but is now f*%$ up like in NCAA 2009.

I think I agree with this assessment. It's not progression that's FUBAR, it's the incoming recruits being initially rated far too low in key attribute areas.

And kicker accuracy ratings. And AWR ratings across the board. And WR juke, spin, elusiveness, etc...
