IF Progression Is Patched

So imagine a patch comes out that magically fixes progression. Is it something that would effect Dynasties already in progress, or would I have to start my Dynasty over to get the effect?

All I can tell you is that last year you were able to continue your dynasties already in progress with the new patch.

Whether that would hold true for this year, I don't know.

I'm sure new recruits generated after the patch would reflect the change but already generated recruits wouldn't have a retroactive change.

when they patched progression in NCAA 10(3rd patch), you could use the same dynasties. not sure why progression needs to be patched though, it's more of the recruits having too low of certain ratings than progression itself, IMO.

It's because when people are referring to progression, they often times mean the recruits, hopefully EA gets the memo that it's the recruits, not so much the progression that need fixed.

Does anyone remember the timetable of the patches last year? I didn't buy NCAA last year, so I'm not familiar with how fast the dev team put out patches last year. Solidice mentioned it was the third patch that affected progression last year. Anyone have an idea of how long after the game was released that the third patch came out?

third patch was late. not sure when exactly, likely well after the real college season started.
