14 fumbles lost in year 4 of my UK dynasty. I had a true freshman back, and he fumbled a lot so I guess thats why.

I hate that everytime you hurdle and get hit you fumble, and everytime you throw a deep pass on the money, your guy will catch it, and then the defender will lunge and hit him from behind and EVERYTIME it seems the ball pops out...I know in real life this happens a lot but not EVERYTIME a WR gets hit lol.

If you abuse juking or trying to escape tackles you will fumble.

If you hit R1 and take what you're given you will rarely fumble.

Risk vs reward

LOL

C'mon man I love the game but you can release the ball and two seconds later your guy will get creamed with no flag.

Unless you're talking prior to getting rid of the ball.

If not you're playing a different game.

I've set the first two Gameplan options on defense to Conservative (Hard hits and I just can't recall the other) and it has help lower the CPU fumbles. There are still some, but not 4-5 a game.

I was talking more so in regards to scrambling with the QB.

You're right, QBs get punished in this game after the throw.

Re: I'm starting to believe the Fumble stories

As stated just above me, my problem isnt with the RB's its with the QB...ima die hard Buckeye fan so i play my boys to sim. Which means i dont curl into a ball with Pryor when i run with him...no he likes to use the stiff arm and gain as much as possible, i understand this may lead to a fumble lost here or there but as my case in point against Illinois i had 3 fumbles within 1 quarter of play with Pryor, all on option plays that were 10+ yards, as soon as he was touched each time the ball comes out. Thats not poor skill thats poor code, love the game otherwise.

Re: I'm starting to believe the Fumble stories

I am confused. I have played 2 practice games this week with my "strip ball" set to aggressive. The AI hasn't fumbled once in those 2 games. The same is generally true for me on offense, I can't recall ever fumbling except when trying to juke while being tackled. What are other people doing to produce all these fumbles that I don't know about?
