How do you turn a 1 star school into 6 stars without cheating?

If you have recruiting set to heisman, how long would it take to get them to 6 stars? Or is it even possible to do so?

How many years is dynasty mode this year?

I'll tell you when I get Western Michigan to a 6 star. They're a 1 star in the game. I am however playing on All American with increased difficulty sliders, and am doing All American recruiting.

My guess is that at least 1 National Championship will be required to hit a 6 star program. I just finished my first season at 10-3 and didn't win the conference and am yet to play my bowl game, but I'm hoping to slide to a 2 star with that. I know moving up to 3, 4, 5 and 6 stars will be a lot more difficult and time consuming.

Just winning a lot every year and accomplish the season goals.

if you complete all the goals laid out in the coaching panel, you gain a star. Do this enough and you get to six stars.

Well the quickest way, like I did, is simulate. Yes, it is KINDA cheating, but I don't have time to go through at least 5 seasons.

Create 5 star recruits and make then Kickers/Punters. Draft them. Then win.

Keep winning, get invited to a BCS conference after a few years of domination (unless there's a BCS school with one star, but I doubt that), keep winning there, and I'm guessing at least win back to back NCs.
