When you go to "View Promises" and you see all these promises next to a "?" where the name of a player should be, are these just promises I made to recruits who signed elsewhere or what?

I think that means it is an unfulfilled promise. Not broken just not gone through.

Well, I'm not sure. At the top of the promise list you see all the names of the players next to whatever promise you've made to them. What I'm talking about are the promises that don't have a name next to them, just a "?".

Yes, they were just left over promises I made to recruits who signed elsewhere. Once you advance to the start of the season they are gone.
