Different PA Pass problem than the boot

This has happened to me several times the last couple days. I am in the shotgun (several different formations) and trying to PA pass but the passing icons won't come up, and the QB has to run because there is no option of who to pass to. Anyone else seeing this?

I have seen this once I think. I think I've seen plays where the CPU has had this happen to it as well. Seems PA is the absolute worst kind of play to run. Lets list the PA problems...

-No passing icons, QB forced to run
-PA Rollout Screen causes QB to run 50 yards backwards in a handoff animation
-QB stepping forward into the pass rush on certain shotgun PA plays.
-Getting sacked consistently on PA plays even with a good running game

Sounds like we should all just not run PA plays to me.

Was it a p/a option play? These type of plays require you to press an extra button to bring up the pass icons.

I thought of that, and tried pushing A button (360) to do so. Is that the wrong button? And I don't even remember that all of them were actually option plays, that is just something I tried on the run while wondering why I couldn't throw the ball.
