Help stopping outside runs.??

the key to stopping outside runs is contain, a quick fix would be to spread your DL and LBs and contain all your DL, watch what happens, also use outside players like DEs, OLBS, safeties and CBs

trust me it was hard until I realized to use the CB as a run defender, go figure, avoid the WR block by cheating in a little presnap and then shoot up in there, if it's to the other side you should already have the DL crashed to the opposite side of th CB you're usering or DEs contained or again te whole line contained and if you know the specific side that run side DL contained, away side QB spied so they chase

again contains, blitzing outside, and usering outside players is the way to stop the outside run

Get more speed on the field if you can. Run like a 3-3-5.

Manually control LBs. Use manually controlled players to contain and force the runner back into your cpu controlled teammates.

Blitz people from the outside if you know it's coming. Corner zone blitzes work really well.

Focus on taking the outside away and forcing everything back inside.
