I like this idea. Intensity should have a positive impact, in terms of maybe how good a player is in big games, 4th quarter, 3rd down, etc. etc. but also he's at risk of making some late hits or unnecessary roughness stuff.

And you add the penalty.


Unsportsmanlike conduct is a penalty which is not in the game. And actually, if a player gets this called on him twice, he is ejected from the game. However, this pretty much applies to trash talk or other really, really dirty stuff, and to be honest, I'm fine with this not being in the game.

I would like to see more roughing the passer and unnecessary roughness calls. It seems like every game I have a roughing the passer penalty should be given

It is all these missing little things that make every game play the same.

Without true to life penalties we are missing variables that change momentum of games.

More video game, less a game of a football.

Ive never seen PI but I have seen offsides once and encroachment once.

i've seen at least a dozen defensive pass interference calls on the cpu in about 40 games.
