Weel written and informative. There are more than a few "reviewers" out there that could learn a thing or to from you. I'm not entirely sold on the "EA has vastly changed how the game works" line; I see this year's edition as more of a fixing and polishing of a great game. I must agree though that NCAA 2004 is the best baller ever...to this point...

Re: My in depth review of NCAA 2004

Very good review. I think the passing game is more difficult in the since that EA finally realized that most TE's hands resemble teflon, not fly paper, and that double team doesn't mean that you have a doubly good chance of catching the pass. The DB single coverage is much better and the best way to beat it (starting with the right matchup)is too take full control of the receiver. That being said, the speed up of the game has created a cleaner looking angle on routes making it easier to see open receivers. The short passing game has improved by leaps and bounds-I'm getting a higher pass % than I ever had in any other football title. Everyone that said NCAA 2003 was the greatest thing since sliced bread chose to ignore the much flawed pass D AI, which quite frankly SUCKED.EA virtually eliminated any trace of this problem.Defensive backs agressively defend passes, and their ratings (receivers too)actually mean something. Greatest game of football ever made-BY FAR!!!

I don't get impressed very easily but I must say I am more than impressed from your review. If I owned an video game site I'd be offering you a job as a reviewer. Nice job.
