Recruiting - The one that got away

I got 3 in one week once ... but I didn't go for them back-to-back-to-back. I purposefully went for e'm in between my other recruits. Of course, I have no idea if that helped at all.

I had a need for lb after the season, and i didnt really have anything on the horizon. All of a sudden I got a 6'4 250 ath out of florida and i was his top school. Fought for four weeks to get this guy and georgia comes and swoops in and takes him right under my nose. Yea guess who I scheduled my second game against. Ruined their season, only barely though lol, took me to OT.

The cool thing about all these stoires is that you no longer take 5* guys from granted. When I get a commit from a top guy that I've put alot of work into recruiting I feel like I've done something. Last year I could sign a 5* and not even blank this year I get excited for a 3* blocking TE.

I've had 4 or 5 before. It's completely random. You could just save and quit over and over and get every recruit who has you at their number one school. I don't do it because it's a cheap way to recruit.

I like that its random if it was the same thing you could come up with a cheat or something that would work. The way it is now its a crap shoot and always keep u on your toes not knowing what to expect.

I let a 5-star MLB get away from me as Utah.. rival BYU came in and snatched him from me

I also lost a 5-star CB to TCU my first year.. that was annoying

I swear I had a 5* CB and 5 *FS and Georgia comes out of nowhere to get them . Thing is they signed 3 players each to that position and I cant get one. effing shame. They could have been starters on an ACC championship and NC contender team.
