You're right about that, but the point is we're seeing DBs lining up at WR even if we have 8 or 9 WRs on the roster, because the two or three players that exist beyond the six-deep are being ignored by the substitution logic.

Really the whole depth chart needs to be reworked into something that isn't stuck in 1995.

I also have WRs lining up at CB after Mass Subs. Ever seen THOSE guys try to cover a route? Can't say how many late, although meaningless, TDs my top WR has given up late in the game with my 6th CB standing on the sideline.
Is the 4-QB, 3-HB, 2-FB recruiting class (this current season's class for Texas in my offline dynasty) part of this issue?

It appears this is still an issue with 2012.

I wondering if we can get a fix for this with Patch #3.

This would fix alot of the problems with a long term dynasty.

We all love to say how glorious this series was last gen, and it was, but this problem has been with us since then. I remember changing all of the depth charts in the default rosters, but as has been previously mentioned once you start a dynasty 3 or 4 yrs in it's pretty much all messed up.

I wish I could have the time to fix these issues myself, but I don't have the time to go through and change the every teams depth chart. This is an issue that EA should fix. I am lucky to get a few hours a week to play this game. The depth chart issues have been lingering for years.
