Automatic Redshirts?

Does anybody know if the computer will auto redshirt a player on your team in dynasty mode? If a player doesn't hit the field at all during the season like they had it on NCAA 10? Im kind of pissed that during formation subs I accidentally subbed in my redshirted sophomore QB and quickly put him back out, but it didnt even have a warning pop up on the screen like it usually does when it says "this action will result in a loss of the players redshirt". Does anybody know if the players auto redshirt if they don't play at all during the season/bowl game? Thanks!

yes, in the game if a player has not been redshirted and he does not play in a given season, he'll be redshirted. had it happen to a true senior center. I thought I was going to be losing my 1st and 2nd string center, but my 2nd stringer ended up getting redshirted automatically because he didn't have any stats.
