CAn NCAA experts please comment about the major pros and cons ABOUT GAMEPLAY? I want to buy this game, but I want input first.

Also if there are other threads that addresses these issues can anyone please link them for me...i didn't want to create extra threads...thanks

Pro:

best football game ever

Con:

not 100% football still.

Some gameplay pros:

1. Penalty for bad passes. The CPU makes you pay for bad ones this year and bombs are harder to complete.

2. CPU offensive playcalling better. I have found, though some disagree, that the CPU calls more runs this year and sticks with it if it is a running team.

3. CPU better passing game. Last year the CPU would complete 50% passes for the most part no matter who they were, this year the good ones complete a higher % and there is a short passing game to keep the yards down.

4. Variety of outcomes. One game I win 31-3 against a poor team, the next I lose 14-7 against an even matched team, every game feels different.

Cons:

1. Still too many CPU deep passes for completions, even in triple coverage. This hurts when you call the right play and even a mediocre reciver beats you.

2. Too easy to scramble. This is still a problem with the EA engine, no real defensive end rush leads to an easy time of getting outside the tackles for more passing time or to scramble.

I think NCAA2004 is a great game, somewhat flawed, but the best football videogame to date.

PROS
Greatly improved pass D AI and more realistic pass catching.
Better control of OFF & DEF players
Best passing game of any pigskin game yet
Much, much better than the overrated NCAA 2003
CONS
Wish they had a tournament mode
Superb game, the best ever,but no new, great innovation
Graphics cleaned up nice & shiny (especially in high def)but we need new player models(minor complaint)
