Icon5 Does the Return attribute actually do anything?

Seriously...I just reduced Michael Floyd's Return attribute down to 40 and he still pops up as a 99 for both kick returning and punt returning on the depth chart. Does the attribute affect anything in the game or is it completely useless?

It isn't a huge deal because I can just adjust the depth chart however I want, but it seems like a waste of disk space to me right now. Shouldn't it have some effect somewhere if they're going to include it in the game?

Sorry, it's just something that's been bugging me for the longest time.

I don't have any evidence or anything but I noticed that when I changed my KR/PR depth chart to put the people with higher RET ratings on that my returners were muffing punts a lot less than when I had my #1 WR up there.

That would make sense. But why don't they edit the OVR in the depth chart under KR and PR to reflect that?

No. It has no bearing for human players.
