What happens to the guy when you cut him?

This question is related to offline dynasty play. Each year, you go through the offseason stuff and cut players. What happens to those guys you cut? I've never seen the reciprocal event, signing players that have been cut from other programs.

It seems odd to me that the game allows players to just, poof, disappear. You'd think that there must be some translational logic between player transfers/departures, and cut players. Afterall, powerhouse schools who cut players should make for a decent pool of talent for lower tier schools looking for help.

They just disapear from the game forever. I would like to see those cut players transfer to different school or maybe some can come back as a JUCO recruit.

That would make sense. Obviously you wouldn't, but if you cut one of your top players, obviously you'd probably see him commit to another school.

I would like to see them as walkons for other schools, or at least JuCo players.

Well, they either die or enroll at Michigan. Either way, when questioned, they all say death is much preferred.

Death is much preferred for having to suffer through one second of being in Dick Rod's presence.

Does the transfer request come before the cut players part? I think it does...They should allow you to cut players first and then you get transfer request from players that have been cut or decided to change schools. Maybe the guy gets cut from Alabama, and Tennessee was 2nd on his list of schools when he was being recruited...well after Alabama cuts him, he should show up on Tennessee's transfer request list.
