I thought the opposite, had no idea so many schools still play on a grass surface. Especially when it comes to the big programs, you'd think everyone would be doing the turf thing. Not to say I don't like a good grass field because I do.

I know that Penn State has students in the (I want to say Horitculture program) take care of the field, grow the grass and what not. Of course, Beaver Stadium is not used for anything else...at all during the year.

It's arguably, the best grass surface in football.

I wish we had the option to change the field for our team. Hate the fake stuff.

You always have Teambuilder, but then you have to rename the rosters yourself and if you're teams has more than 4 jerseys you lose them.

Random tidbit of grass knowledge: Michigan State's real grass field is a big deal in the grass world. MSU was even put in charge of the field at the Olympic Stadium for Beijing in 2008.

Yeah, Michigan State is another of the Universities who have a grass program.

Very few do...Texas A&M does I think along with MSU and PSU...all 3 are considered "Agriculture Universities"

I wish more played on grass, I'd like to see games in winter where the field was mud and frozen dirt.
