Play Action and Special Teams Still Suck

I was one of those who threw PA passes out of my playbook during patch 2 because about 75% of the time I was sacked before my receivers' icons even showed up. I've been very pleased with PA passes after patch 3 as they are working for me now. Of course they're not money, but I actually have time to look @ my receivers and throw the ball now.

Sadly, special teams still suck. I have absolutely, positively, zero fear of kicking the ball to any returner as I know that not only will they not return it for a TD, but they'll be lucky to get even decent yards.

I've only ever had success with Play Action from shotgun formations. Mostly because the animation is so much shorter as opposed to plays that start from under center. Frequently I'll see a receiver running free but I'll get sacked before the QB even turns around.

As for returns, I've owned the game for weeks now and the only return TD I've made or given up came when my primary returner fumbled right into by backup returner's (97 SPD) hands.

Play Action works fine. I play Heisman with sliders in favor of the AI....Here is an example of a PA against OSU, once I had established the run, this play out of the strong I was "set up"

They do need to fix special teams. Specifically make the AI better at KO returns and make the AI stop trying to make 60+ yard FG's. Only in game ending scenarios should they be trying those.

Returned two punts for touchdowns against a 1aa team but still did it came close to returning some against d1 teams with alabama but no luck, completely think ncaa 12 needs to have special teams be brand new and upgraded and for it too work.

Did your QB just throw that 65 yards in the air?

Rhetorical question, I know.

Does the real life counterpart to that QB have the ability to do that?

Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but just watching that, that was a bomb and a half.

I would imagine so, he's a pro style QB. I think most D1 passers can throw the ball 63 yards in the air, especially if they have time to step into it.

I want to know why there still isnt a return left and return right for kick off return, its pretty pathetic IMO that its only return middle....still love the game though.
