Re: Where Did The Speed Go?

Fact is there are not alot of legit 4.4 guys in college, the majority of the kids playing college football should be around 80-90 in the speed rating range.

The key in recruiting is targeting speed players and then recruiting them heavily. EA implements this well, as speed is a commodity and it's not available to everyone. If you want the fastest and most balanced RB you have to be one of the best schools, and pursue that player.

You really can't focus either just on the caliber when recruiting because it's just an overall ranking. You really have to look at all the ratings in order to decide which player is the best fit for your offense. But to me the distribution of speed is normal and fine, to me it accuratley mirrors real life.

I agree with these posts wholeheartedly.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Re: Where Did The Speed Go?

If you want high acceleration guys, go recruit 3 star OLBs. Just signed 3 with either A or A+ Accel.

But yeah, speed is a commodity. Not every team should get a burner. That's just how it is.

Re: Where Did The Speed Go?

I love how it is. I look at skill over speed this year

I think it's pretty clear from reading these responses that not very many people understand what our real complaint is.

Re: Where Did The Speed Go?

The speed went entirely to the opposite team's defensive line. I've got DEFENSIVE TACKLES running my quarterback down, who by the way is Denard Robinson.

What a joke this game is.

That there aren't that many high-end fast players? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's realistic. Julio Jones isn't fast. AJ Green isn't a burner. Ryan Williams isn't a speedster. Neither is Mark Ingram.
