Is it impossible to run out of Shotgun?

I find that when you run the pistol in this game that almost all of your blockers do a great job at the line but almost every time there is one guy who gets blown up, which makes running very hard. The ball exchange is also slower than it is in real life which gives the d-line more time to break through. Irl its very good though.

That's the psychic AI for ya. They read run and blitz but trust me if they weren't psychic you could have a very efficient running game and you can mix up the standard runs with options and roll out PA passes
