tackle animations

I have noticed that there are no tackles in this game where the defender goes for the legs. They are all upper body tackles which is fundamentally wrong. You're ALWAYS taught to go for the legs when you tackle yet there isn't a single tackle that involves going for the legs. Anyone else seen an actually tackle where they wrap up the legs?

Re: tackle animations

Yes I have done cut tackles with the right stick. You point it down for the lower body tackle. Also if you just make contact (without using the right stick) it often starts a normal wrap tackle animation. Also try the dive button

Re: tackle animations

I don't know what you're really talking about. I am talking about tackle animations where the defender specifically goes for their legs, wrap up, and take them down when they tackle. I ONLY see the tackles where they wrap up on the upper body.

Re: tackle animations

I have seen leg tackles, mostly upper body....but Hit Stick Down is far from what it used to be, i always get shoulder block tackles on Hit Stick down.

Run into the guy without pressing anything. They will often wrap the guys waist

Re: tackle animations

Big hit low will trigger the player to go low and tackle the legs. I see the CPU do it a lot with their secondary players if ball carrier lowers their head to try and truck which seems to be realistic since that's what smaller players do. A lot of times you'll see the ball carrier get dumped right onto their back.
