Question regarding ratings

Everyone is running man coverage because of how affective it is but I have noticed that curl patterns work extremely well for the cpu but users rarely run them. My question is which defensive rating dictates how quick the defensive back jumps in front of the wide receiver? I would assume it is the awareness or man coverage but I wanted to know if anyone has confirmed this. Thanks in advance.

From what I have seen, AGI is key for great CBs. Most have great SPD and ACC, but the elite ones have great AGI and they tend to jump the routes better.

Yea I know AGI affects how quick they can change directions. I am talking about the player jumping the curl route specifically. It isn't the AGI affecting it because they aren't trying to change directions. They are simply standing behind the WR for a few seconds before moving in front of him so I know it has to be either awareness or man coverage.

Changing some of the settings in your gameplan menu can help too. Gets me a ton of interceptions on curl routes.

I am not looking to it as much as a way of getting interception while I am on defense but as another way to beat man coverage. I play in an online league so I can't just adjust the sliders.
