Here's a new one I hadn't heard. Really made me take notice...

I just defeated FCS Northwest Eagles in my offline dynasty in week 2. As far as I've ever seen the announcers don't say anything about them at the end of the game or track their stats, wins, or losses etc in the dynasty. They're just the faceless punching bags.

But this time, after my victory and the "player of the game" thing (my RB), it says "And for the Eagles, they drop to an astonishing 0 and 8".

I did a major wtf double take. Firstly I've never heard them mention these guys at the end of a game but they're 0 and 8? In week 2? lol. Now THAT is bad.

I love when you play an FCS team and you're a top 25 team, but at the end of the game, Kurt says something like, "Both teams were pretty evenly matched, so this outcome is a shocker." I'm just like, um. My team is a B+ overall. They're an F-------. REALLY?

lol or when you've played a tight game back and forth all day and score a clinching touchdown to win by like 10 points and he says how he expected a much closer game and was shocked one team won by so much.

this is exactly why I don't ever schedule a FCS team in my dynasty. FCS teams FTL!

I like Kirk in real life, but I took the advice of someone on here, and turned of announcers. I turned up PA announcer, crowd and band noise, and added some custom music. Much better experience IMO.

Yeah, Kirk says some off-the-wall things. Just the other day I threw a TD pass on the first play of the game. It was actually a WR screen pass that I managed to take to the house.

Anyway, after I scored and kicked off, Kirk said something about how I gave up a turnover and the other team scored and I should be more careful with the ball.

Really, Kirk? Whoever sets the events that trigger certain phrases from the announcers needs to do a MUCH better job next year.

I had a similar experience once. I opened the game with a TD pass, forced a 3 and out, and then threw a Pick 6 on my next drive. Kirk says "They've thrown for 2 straight touchdowns"

I like when I have a big lead late in the game and the other team throws a pick 6 and the announcers say I'm running up the score
