CPU Teams That Have Become Powerhouses

In my dynasty a school that has become a powerhouse is Troy State. I believe they start out as a 3 star in the game, but after many Sun Belt championships they are up to 6 stars now. They regularly pull in top 10 recruiting classes every year with a lot of good talent. I am part of the reason they are so good, though. I was Mid Tenn State and got them moved to the SEC after 2 seasons, in place of Vanderbilt. So, Troy State had a very easy conference and never let up.

It is very cool how CPU teams can fall off or become so dominant. What are some schools that have become powerhouses in your dynasties?

Boise State in my OD won the National Championship the first year, then they were 9-0 and ranked #3 the second year until they played me (Utah State). I pulled a massive upset and beat them and they then proceeded to lose 2 more, out of the BCS, lost their bowl, and now the next year they're ranked down in the 20's and are down to a C+/B- team. I can see how losing to Utah State might cause a team to go suicidal like that I guess.

For reasons beyond me, Temple has been in or around the top 5 for about 2 years now. I'm playing them in the orange bowl this year, but they won the NC last year. Meanwhile Alabama has fallen in rank and rarely goes above #15.

I started as MTSU, got them up to 4 stars and moved to Miami. So now MTSU is always in the top 25, and I schedule them once a year.

I'm in year 2017 and the top teams are: LSU, Oregon, Temple, and Miami.

Troy State is a beast of a program in my dynasty also and I'm almost 20 years into it. UCLA is great again. Boise State is always in it, but yet to win a National Championship.

Texas is the big winner. They've won 5 National Championships in my game and double digit Big 12's. They once recruited 20 5 star players and 2 4 stars for an entire class! They've won 89 straight home games. I tried to take them on and scheduled them in my dynasty to open the season. I was a #7 ranked UNC team vs. #2 Texas. Went up 14-0. Game ended 52-14 Texas for their 90th straight home win.

Oregon and Florida both have dropped off drasticaly.
