I'm pretty certain that the elusiveness rating has to do with players who have an ability to dodge defenders...Simply put, it is hard to put your hand on them.

BTK has to do with players actually being grabbed and then managing to get themselves out of the tackle animation.

This is only from Madden 10, don't know if it differs. In madden 10 in our OF we found out through multiple games and test that elusiveness is the ability for your ball carrier to not get tackled while not making any moves. Here's how we kind of did this, took a guy w/ high elusivenss and ran the ball with him, but only used the cover ball button. He slipped out of more tackles (no pro taks) and when getting hit sticked, it went into that animation where where'd he'd throw his hand up and bounce off the guy. Hope this helped.
