Redshirt Question

Is there a limit to how many redshirts you can give out to players on your team? Because in the last couple of years, i've tried to redshirt all of the freshman on my team that don't see significant playing time, and there are at least 3 or 4 players that I KNOW i redshirted but it somehow says they aren't. It's really frustrating. Anyone else encountered this or know if there's a limit? I probably only use 10-12 every year btw.

Not sure on limits but if you leave a player off the depth chart, play all your games without using mass subs, and never sub that player in at all they will receive a red shirt even if they are not red shirted in the pre-season.

Really? Wow, never noticed that but i'll have to keep it in mind. But yah, from now on i'm just gonna go through my pre-season tasks and save and check it asap to make sure they actually redshirted.
