Computer never runs clock?

It seems that, whenever I play, the computer never takes more than 2 or 3 seconds after getting to the line to snap the ball when playing a game. This is incredibly irksome for two reasons. 1, its completely unrealistic, and 2, it ruins the custom stadium sound effects because they're constantly being cut off by a hyperactive computer. Is it like this for everyone else or did I just set a setting incorrectly?

Definitely not always like this. I've seen teams do the 2-3 seconds thing... 7-15 seconds.... or sometimes run the playclock down to 2-3 seconds left.

I've seen the CPU vary it from time to time at the LOS, but not often enough.

My biggest pet peeve though is that the game clock doesn't run for the CPU at all at the play select screen. That tilts the T.O.P. in the user's favor too much IMO.

In the past, the game clock would run a good 5 or 6 seconds before the "DEFENSE SELECT PLAY" message came on with another 5 or 6 seconds for you to pick.

Now it just starts at 10 seconds and does not run the game clock. That is flawed.
