Glitch or not?

Even though Cam Newton isn't a freshman, he has improved a great deal in one season. If real life had a rating system like NCAA Football 11 he might have started out as a 75 or 76 rated guy then progressed into the 99 overall guy that he is today.

it only happens when you remove a redshirt midseason though.....so its not cool...and it has been in the game 2 years in a row...its a glitch

Perhaps the 74 was the glitch? With the new scouting feature, I've seen players go up +8 in scouting, but as with everything EA who knows if/what/where the limit is ?

You also don't mention the use of any timesavers ... perhaps the op has the Uber training Time saver and it is affecting the progression as well ?

If it is a glitch and you make him get rid of the player. By that rule if the game glitches in your favor while your playing you should have to forfiet that game as a loss.
