I like this thread. I've been using some of the traditions people have posted. For my Mizzou dynasty, I've started making "relatives" of former Missouri players and trying to get them. They start at an 80-83 overall.

First year: CB Eric Wehrli
Second year: QB JeMarcus Bradley and DE Drake Hitchler
Third year: TE Chad Coffman

In Wehrli's freshman year, he had 4 picks (1 TD) and was a first team NCAA all-american. So far in his sophomore year, he has 1 pick in 1 game. Bradley's being redshirted and Hitchler is starting at RE for me. I'll hopefully get Coffman for next year now.

Also, if I get a black kicker or punter, I make them white.

Only a WR rated 91 or above can wear the number 1.

I stole the sleeves idea for each class that someone posted a few pages back. Really like that one.

Great great player, offensive or defensive gets number 6. Single digits are always special and go to best players. Great d lineman will get 99.

Not totally a tradition but sort of in the same arena. In my offline dynasty playing as Florida State I stripped all the retired numbers that the CPU handed out but gave Chris Weinke's number 16 to my young QB who started as a red shirt freshman and is going to be the real deal by the time I have to convince him to come back for his senior season.

My 5 star players get dark visors and my 3 stars get longsleeves. I like to be able to tell what kind of recruit just made a BA play without going to instant replay.

In my offline dynasties, I implement the NFL number system which makes things a bit more organized. Also, I only let my starters wear gear other than gloves. When you become a starter, they'll get some bands or pads or sleeves or whatnot. Being a starter is a reward but also a privilege.
